MONZA, NOVEMBER 10th – Allianz Vero Volley Milano is pleased to announce that has acquired the right to the sporting performances of libero Teodora Pušić. The player will arrive in Italy next week.
Born in 1993, native of Belgrade (Serbia), Pušić played in Romania for Rapid Bucharest in the last season. The new libero of Marco Gaspari’s team took her first steps in the Serbian championship in the 2010-2011 season with Ženski odbojkaški klub Crvena Zvezda, where she won three national championships and four Serbian Cups. In the 2015-2016 she moved to Odbojkaški klub Vizura, adding two more championships and a further Serbian Cup to her palma
With the Serbian national team, Pušić has collected trophies since the youth categories, where she won the silver medal at the European category championship in 2010, held on home soil.
Her debut with the senior national team came in 2013, which took place during the European League. She later won two consecutive European championships (2017 and 2019) and the 2018 World title. In 2022, however, Serbia ranked third in the Volleyball Nations League and again won gold at the World championship, where she was also awarded as best libero. The last trophy won with the national team, just a few months ago, putting the silver medal around her neck at the recent European Championships.
